Excellent Jersey - A lot of attention

Posted by Mike Maguire (Somerset NJ) on 22nd Jul 2012

My mother has been sewing for 70 years. My sister makes and sells $5000 quilts. Both inspected the jersey, the seams, the quality and workmanship of the product and could not find any flaws. The stitching is perfect. The level of detail is outstanding. The pin stripes on the front of the jersey are perfectly parallel to the placket and the pinstripe spacing across the placket is almost identical to the rest of the jersey. The team logo on the front of the jersey is perfectly aligned so that when buttoned you have to look real close to see the seam in the shirt. I wore the shirt to a Dodgers-Mets game yesterday at Citi park in Queens NY and had at least 20 people comment on the shirt. Either they were big Wetteland fans (quite likely) or they just liked the look of the shirt. Wetteland broke into the majors with the Dodgers then to Expos, Yankees, Rangers. His connection to the Mets is Gary Carter the Expos catcher who caught Wetteland but ended up with the Mets. Per the headline - a lot of attention. Throwback Jerseys puts a lot of attention into the details of the shirt - it is fantastic. A lot of attention because the shirt just catches it. Waiting to buy my Ken Dryden Habs sweater next.
